The Canadian federal government has officially launched the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), which is set to provide dental coverage for eligible residents starting in 2025. This initiative is particularly significant for families without private dental insurance, as it offers both financial support and a pathway to improved health.

To qualify for the CDCP, applicants must meet specific criteria, including having no private or employer-provided dental insurance and an adjusted family net income of less than CAD 90,000. Additionally, applicants must be Canadian tax residents and submit their previous year's tax return.
